ONGC Tripura Power Co is planning to expand its gas power plant in Palatana in Kakraban Tehsil in Gomati district of Tripura. The project involves setting up of 2×363.3 MW (Unit-3&4) gas based power units. Additional land required for the project is around 33 acres, which is available. As of February 2018, the project is under planning stage
